Covid19 - Shipping Delays (12 June 2021)
Shipping schedules continue to be impacted by the global pandemic, in particular the ports of Yantian, Shenzhen and Guangzhou in southern China.
Currently, there are approximately 40 vessels waiting at anchor for slots to become available at Yantian, and this is causing severe disruption to lead times as well as creating a shortage of containers.
Unfortunately there is very little we can do in these circumstances except to keep you updated if you are waiting on your order to arrive.

Covid19 - Our latest update (26 April 2021)
Unfortunately the global pandemic continues to affect shipping times for our shutters, and we continue to work with our factory to keep lead times under 12 weeks.
However delays are occurring in ports en-route and ocean vessels are struggling to maintain their schedules and slots for discharging and loading.
Shipping costs continue to remain at record levels going into the second quarter of 2021, and having absorbed these increased costs since November/December 2020, we are no longer in a position to continue with this and a price increase of 5% on all custom-made shutters will come into effect from Friday May 7th 2021.
Covid19 - An update for our customers (24 February 2021)
The effects of Covid19 continue to cause shipping delays worldwide, however we are working with our factory to reduce production times in order to keep the maximum lead time for your order to 12 weeks.
As mentioned in a previous update, container shipping costs have increased dramatically in the final quarter of 2020, and these increases are being maintained into the first quarter of 2021.
We here at Shutterplus have decided to absorb these extra shipping cost on all orders received up to March 31st 2021 when we will re-visit the situation once again.
Shipping Delays - An update for our customers (31 December 2020)
Due to a combination of factors including Covid-19, Brexit and extreme UK port congestion, our containers are experiencing significant delays.
As a result, our normal lead time of 9-10 weeks for standard shutters has increased to 13-14 weeks until further notice.
This slowdown in worldwide shipping has led to a shortage of containers for factories to load and space on board vessels is now at a premium, resulting in the cost of shipping doubling and in some cases tripling. Read article here
